The Comet Rest offers a total of 52 ensuited-style single accommodation units, newly installed and furnished with a king-single bed, flat screen television, refrigerator, wardrobe, writing desk and ensuite bathroom.
A further three cabin-style self-contained double accommodation units are available, which include a separate bedroom with double bed, kitchen/living area and bathroom, ideal for supervisors and managers.
All accommodation units are air-conditioned and supplied with fresh linen. A guest laundry is available for quests washing requirements.
A dining facility is available for in-house guests, providing breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, with a varied menu.
It is serviced by a well -equipped professional kitchen.
Self-service BBQ facilities and an alfresco bar area are also available for guests to use.
The Comet Rest offers a small fuel facility comprising of three fuel tanks (Unleaded and Diesel).
Due to the small holding tank capacity, a fuel limit may be imposed per customer. Bulk fuel is available for purchase in the larger townships of Blackwater and Emerald.
The Comet Rest provides a convenience store and cafe offering general goods such as ice, hot and cold drinks, milk, bread and snack foods available for purchase by in-house guests and passing trade.
A variety of basic foods such as all-day breakfast items as well as burgers and toasted sandwiches are available to order.
